Bästa passet ever

A while back I signed up for a Garmin Coach training program to try to run 21 km. I’m now in week 13 of 15.
I was watching some barefoot running content where Tony Riddle trains with Rich Roll – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zFvEBSTYx8.

In theory I already know how it’s supposed to work, and I’d been thinking it would be fun to try barefoot sometime. But it ended up being just a regular session instead, about 60 minutes of easy-paced running. Still, right after the warm-up it felt different in my body. I remembered how Tony’s focus wasn’t on the foot strike but on the backward lift instead. And it just clicked. My mindset shifted from making my legs roll like a wheel to lifting quickly backward. And suddenly it didn’t take much energy at all, you just bounced along. It was a really great session, faster than usual, less pain, barely out of breath, and left me wanting more for the next one.
