I&#8217;ve been forced to walk during both the 12k trail run and the 15k trail run I did earlier this year, so the goal was just to make it through. But it turned out 21 km on road was easier than 15 km on trail.<\/p>\r\n<p>It was windy, a bit sunny. I loaded up on various glucose tablets, water, and energy drink. My plan was to run the first half at an easy pace and see if I could pick it up after that, but instead I got slightly slower.<\/p>\r\n<p>At 10k everything felt good.<\/p>\r\n<p>At 15k I was super happy that I&#8217;d managed to run the whole distance, a brand new goal, but this is where my knees and feet started to hurt.<\/p>\r\n<p>At 18k I was reeeally tired. I wanted to finish strong but shuffled my way through the SAIS loop in the forest.<br \/>The last 500 meters were tough and I kept checking my watch the whole time to see if it was almost time to rest.<br \/>And right at the finish line I met up with my family and caught my breath, really pleased.<\/p>\r\n<p>So here, two days later, it feels totally fine. No injuries or blisters. Body&#8217;s weak but no pain.<\/p>\r\n<p>Time for new goals!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
